Nikon gets ‘eye-catching’ look

Nikon has unveiled the packaging for its latest range of compact cameras, designed by Brewer Riddiford. The consultancy was awarded the work after a paid creative pitch against unnamed groups.

Brewer Riddiford designer Richard Haywood, recently recruited from MPL, was responsible for the packaging. It is constructed of the latest microflute boards to underline technical changes in the cameras and to reduce costs.

It aims to be more eye-catching than traditional camera packaging, according to a spokesman for the consultancy.
