The search is now on for the perfect pub

I would like to remind all practitioners in the UK that the annual Pub Design Awards close on 14 June. There is still time to enter and forms can be obtained from our office.

Recent winners range from Bass taverns and Wetherspoons, Marstons and Sam Smiths, down to individual publicans and microbrewers. Many recent winners have been entered by the architects concerned, and vary from careful refurbishment of traditional public houses to interesting new café bars.

There are awards for four categories: newly built pub, conversion to pub use, refurbishment, and English Heritage conservation.
