Interbrand announced this week that it is to merge with people-centred change consultancy and Omnicom stablemate Smythe Dorward Lambert. Interbrand chairman Rita Clifton says the merger will not affect the consultancy’s staff, although ‘efficiencies’ may be needed on the SDL side.

Prada’s Japanese flagship store, designed by Basel-based architect Herzog & de Meuron, opens on 7 June. Situated in Tokyo’s Epicentre building in the Aayomo district, the store is inspired by the shapes of a crystal, says architect Jacques Herzog.
Former Lambie-Nairn creative directors Marcus Jones and Brian Eley have joined with Liz Dunning, also ex Lambie-Nairn, to form Dunning Eley Jones. The trio, drawing on its Lambie-Nairn expertise, plans to specialise in the televisual arena.
