The Design Council holds a regional event on 5 June in Newcastle. Responsible Design Practice – Necessity or Nirvana is discussion and debate looking at ethics, the environment and social responsibility in modern design practice.

The next British Design & Art Direction President’s Lecture is on 10 June when Dutch design and advertising agency Kesselskramer takes the stage. Book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £15 for non-members, £10 members, £5 students and concessions.
