Love the smell of gasoline in the Diary column? We were mown down by the news of the Design Pursuit charidee rally.

Ten motors sped round the Cotswolds to answer clues in the name of Design for Good. Periscope director Kim Crawford and Vibrant creative director Greg Vallance piloted the winning car (pictured). Enterprise IG directors Dave Brown and Pete Hollingsworth raised the most (£1500 out of a £7000 total).

Last, but not least, were a team from Hey Moscow – crazy name, crazy guys – dressed as Russian soldiers and accompanied by a stuffed leopard.

It isn’t so much The Fast and The Furious as Wacky Races, eh?
