The Royal Mail issued a new set of ‘smiler’ stamps to coincide with St Andrew’s Day on 30 November. The stamps, designed and art directed by Iain Lauder, creative director at Redpath, feature images of well-known Scottish landmarks. The majority of the pictures were taken by Chris Close, with the remainder provided by the Scottish government.
