Images of caterpillars transforming into butterflies show off Curtis Fine Papers’ main branded products in its Beautiful Ideas promotional folder. Design group One to One Direct Communications and photographer Ewan Myles took shots of insects for the project, to show various printing and finishing techniques. ‘The idea is that you can make something as ugly as a caterpillar look beautiful on the paper,’ says consultancy art director John Shannon. One to One is now working on a similar project for Curtis using bulbs transforming into flowers.

A new range of Lego Media products is to launch tomorrow. Lego Creator, Lego Loco and Lego Chess will allow children of all ages to design and build their own imaginary world, run a train network or play chess with Lego characters from the comfort of their own computers. The programs were developed for Lego by software designers Superscape VR and Krisalis.
