CPB wins TV licence job

Coley Porter Bell is part of the consortium which has won the contract to collect the TV licence fee for seven years from 1999.

Called Envision, the consortium is formed of WPP companies Ogilvy One and Ogilvy Public Relations, with Post Office subsidiary SSL and IT group Bull Information Systems.

CPB developed Envision’s name and identity, and will handle design elements of the forthcoming project. The consortium will be paid a fee for its work, with bonuses or fines depending on its level of effectiveness.
