Creativity means never having to tell the time

The design industry’s luvvie fraternity was well represented at the launch of Design in Business Week 98 in London’s Palladium Theatre.

The nature of creative thought was much discussed by speakers including Bartle Bogle Hegarty founder John Hegarty, DW contributor Janice Kirkpatrick and Professor Gary Hamel of Strategos.

But the real pseuds were in the audience, if an overheard conversation is anything to go by. Responding to an enquiry about the time, one creative type responded: ‘Oh, I never wear a watch. It inhibits my creativity.’
