Effectiveness Awards results

On-screen specialist Martin Lambie-Nairn has been presented with the 1998 Design Council Prince Philip Designers Prize. – Meanwhile, The Psion Series 5 model, created by Therefore, has won the DBA/Marketing Week Design Effectiveness Awards’ Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, The Psion Series 5 model, created by Therefore, has won the DBA/Marketing Week Design Effectiveness Awards’ Grand Prix.

Interbrand Newell and Sorrell picked up two prizes for its Mencap appeal, in the new Design For Good category, and a joint prize for Corporate identity under 1m with FLB’s Fabulous Bakin’ Boys.

Corporate identity for more than 1m was won by Lloyd Northover Citigate for Partek.

Other winners include BDG McColl for Glasgow’s Waterstone’s interiors, WFCA integrated for Pasta Reale packaging, and Siegel & Gale’s redesign of the British Gas bill. Elmwood’s recycling campaign for Easington District Council picked up the special Environmental Award.
