Real-life soap operas

Following revelations about Kate Irving and pop god Paul Young (DW 21 March), news arrives of other celeb/designer liaisons. If rumours are to be believed, husband and wife team Mary Lewis and Robert Moberly both canoodled with the famous (prior to their union, of course).

Mary’s beau was allegedly none other than literary enfant terrible Martin Amis. Not bad. But nothing compares to Robert’s past amour: Gabrielle Drake, once of Crossroads, occasionally Blankety Blank and, almost certainly, Celebrity Squares.
