Retail award finalists listed

Seventeen students from six UK colleges have been shortlisted for the 1997 Fitch Amtico retail design award. – They will work on schemes to exploit retail opportunities and enhance passenger comfort in airports for the second stage of the competition.

Seventeen students from six UK colleges have been shortlisted for the 1997 Fitch Amtico retail design award.

They will work on schemes to exploit retail opportunities and enhance passenger comfort in airports for the second stage of the competition.

Finalists are: Glasgow School of Art; Edinburgh’s Telford College; University College, Salford; University of Teesside; Leeds College of Art and Design and Surrey Institute of Art and Design.

Judges include Fitch director Neil Whitehead; Jon Turner, head of global design at The Body Shop and Design Week editor Lynda Relph-Knight.
