D&AD judges make a splash with Chase director

Ever wondered what the male equivalent of a wet T-shirt contest might be? Pants most likely. Just ask Harriet Devoy, London creative director of The Chase, who got an eyeful last week while judging the D&AD Awards in Brighton.

Ever wondered what the male equivalent of a wet T-shirt contest might be? Pants most likely.

Just ask Harriet Devoy, London creative director of The Chase, who got an eyeful last week while judging the D&AD Awards in Brighton.

She found herself (hmm, well, perhaps not in that way) on a beach at 3am with Dave Palmer from Love, Peter Hale from GBH and Robert Riche from Radley Yeldar – whereupon the three amigos stripped down to their smalls and dashed into the surf.

The designers were all celebrating a hard day’s graphical adjudication; it’s not clear, however, whether the lads won Devoy’s special prize for packaging.
