Music and fairy lights at monthly Old Street session

We’ve been meaning to tell you about Art Fairy since Duffy managing director Tim Watson (you remember, that elfin-looking guy – Diary, DW 23 January) pressed a CD into our hands, A&R man-style. ‘Play at dinner parties instead of Morcheeba’, it read. So we did, and the tunes made for tasty listening.

Duffy designers Adam Whitaker and Logan Fisher are the musical sous-chefs in the mix – and their latest Art Fairy monthly is heating up this Saturday, 5 April at 110 Old Street, London EC1. Expect an aural smorgasboard serving of Barrington Levy, LCD Soundsystem, Akufen and ‘party favourites’. DJs Whitaker and Fisher are joined by Simon Aitken (aka Coded Soul) with his ‘slam dunk electro funk’.
