Sands shifts to DBA chair

Elmwood managing director Jonathan Sands has succeeded Ken Grange as chairman of the Design Business Association. Sands’ two-year term began this week at Tuesday’s DBA annual general meeting.

The AGM also saw three new directors join the board: David Rivett of Design Bridge, Dale Bevington of Indes Design Consultants and Nicholas Ind of The Jenkins Group.

Sands wants to exclude non-members from DBA activities, such as the Design Effectiveness Awards and DBA/Department of Trade and Industry export drives.
