Turner prize winning artist Anish Kapoor exhibits a selection of drawings from 5 August until 23 September.

A collection of portraits by photographer Jason Bell are displayed from 10 August until 1 September at Gold Rush. Bell travelled to 32 countries over a ten-month period to capture images of athletes.

As part of the Altered States of America season, the Photographer’s Gallery presents American photographers Catherine Opie and Julius Shulman from 9 August until 24 September.

Economic development agency Scottish Enterprise exhibits pioneering Scottish inventions at Desire, Delight, Design in Glasgow until 18 August. The innovations featured were all awarded Millennium Product status by The Design Council.
