Glazer nurtures new Terra Eco packaging

London design consultancy Glazer has produced packaging and accompanying material for Terra Eco Systems range of peat-free compost, which will be relaunched in mid-August.

Aiming to explain Terra’s position to consumers as an alternative to peat-based products – one which is both environmentally friendly and offers high performance – Glazer has produced photography-led packaging featuring a gardener’s hands that reflects these values.

The design will be applied to literature, packaging, advertising and promotional material, with a website due to go on-line in the near future.

Meanwhile, Glazer has appointed Gareth Howat as design director in response to the increased business won by the consultancy this year.

After four years working for Lapot and seven years with The Partners, Howat will now be working on projects for Glazer clients including Thames Water, London Transport, Royal Mail, Granville Baird and Comic Relief.
