Branding specialist Identica has renamed and rebranded the private independent gas marketing company, Quantum Energy Group.
The project’s aim is to provide greater flexibility and strength for potential business expansion and for increased Internet application of the client’s brand.
The company is now called V-is-on, retaining the V from Vector Gas – Quantum’s customer service organisation – to create a link to the original company.
The second part of the name is intended to communicate the company’s high energy outlook, its innovative approach to business and a growing commitment to the Internet.
According to V-is-on chief executive officer Nick Clarke, “We are very proud of what we have achieved in recent years, but we’re not stopping there.
“Our new identity will allow us to continue our success story with a brand which leads us into the future and reflects the way we see ourselves.”
Identica head of marketing David Melton believes the new brand will “stand out in a market which is dominated by unexciting brands with traditional names”.
“We created a brand identity that reflects the company’s attributes – dynamic, independent and determined. The new name maintains a relationship with the highly successful Vector Gas operation, while reflecting the e-commerce capabilities and dynamic ‘customer-first’ attitude,” Melton says.
