A fusion of 17th and 21st century Chinese decor

A fusion of 17th and 21st century Chinese decor has just been served up by interior design consultancy Tully Filmer for Shanghai Blues, a restaurant that opened in central London last week.

Housed in a Grade II-listed building in Holborn, the restaurant comprises three distinct rooms, along with a mezzanine level that overlooks the main bar and dining room.

Tully Filmer’s design adopts a pared- down, modern take on traditional Shanghai interiors.

The distinct identity of Shanghai Blues’ parent company Weng Wah House Group is prevalent throughout the restaurant.
