Anyone for tennis?

If you are in West London this weekend, Newton’s Rings Communicating Colour starts Saturday at the Small Mansion Arts Centre. This is a collection of photographs by designer and colour consultant Haydon Williams and takes a look at the colourful diversity of our environment. Until 11 July.

Venue: Small Mansion Arts Centre, Gunnersbury Park, Popes Lane, London W5.

Illustration is the subject of a new exhibition at The Gallery at Pentagram Design which starts on Monday. Visual Memories from Zanzibar by Nelly Dimitranova is a collection of colourful illustrations from a recent trip by the artist. Until 15 August.

Or hotfoot it down to the Conservatory Terrace at London’s Barbican Centre this weekend for a display of innovative footwear by students from Cordwainer’s College. The work is available for commission. Opening times: Friday and Saturday 10am-5.30pm, Sunday 12-7.30 pm.
