Boots seizes the advantage

Boots the Chemists is launching a free quarterly women’s magazine. It is predicted to have a larger circulation than any other women’s magazine on the UK market.

The new title is being designed and produced by Redwood Publishing and will be mailed to Boots’ two million top-spending Advantage Card holders. The first 100-page issue will be published in September.

Boots director of customer services Jayne Mayled says the magazine is intended to “strengthen the relationship between the store and its customers”. It will be edited by the former health and beauty director of She magazine, Louise Pearce.
