Telecom Italia identity review
Italian telecoms group Telecom Italia is gearing up to change its identity. European consultancies including Wolff Olins and Landor Associates are understood to have been approached.
A pitch list of three groups had been drawn up before the recent acquisition by Olivetti. Sources say all activity was put on hold until the sell-off talks were complete. Telecom Italia is five times larger than its new owner.
Representatives of Landor and Wolff Olins decline to comment. A Telecom Italia spokesman says: “It is still too early to know if these initiatives will go ahead.”
