Chaplins sits in Knightsbridge

Contemporary designer furniture department store, Chaplins, is opening a UK flagship store in London’s Knightsbridge, opposite Harrods, this week. It will be the first UK shop to stock high-profile furniture brands, such as the Rolf Benz 222 multi-faceted sofa, designed by Georg Appelshauser, and Interlubke’s EO glass cube cabinet, which features a changeable ambient mood light dial.

The store will feature concessionary areas showcasing new products by companies Maxalto, De Sede, Acerbis, Cor and Giorgetti among others.

The store window will showcase one of only 50 limited edition Espada reclining chairs created by Santiago Calatrava for De Sede (pictured above).

The store is Chaplins’ third London outlet.
