In search of that cutting-edge sofa or some retro-inspired ergonomic chairs for the office? Design Week offers a sneak preview of what to look out for this year at London’s office interiors show, Design Prima

Design Prima opens next week at Old Billingsgate, London, with a range of new high-end contemporary office furniture and interiors solutions by 100 international brands. Taking place over three days, the event is a must-see for innovations in the office interiors sector.

Exhibitors to look out for include Naughtone, the impressive young UK furniture design studio, which is introducing its successful Track modular sofa system to the contract market.

UK office interior design specialist Natural Elements will add new products to its portfolio, including the Hali executive System 700 of desking, storage and furniture for integrated audiovisual systems, offered in aluminium, glass and luxury wood veneers.

From the many overseas manufacturers come several innovations. Swiss company Girsberger presents its innovative Reflex swivel chair range, constructed using lamella and feathers to offer excellent back support, alongside multi-purpose chairs for meeting spaces, and Fifty, a shell chair that pays homage to the 1950s.

Scandinavian office specialist Kinnarps will launch four new ranges, 4xMissions, including the 9000 series chairs, with excellent ergonomic design that promises to improve the experience of adjusting the seating. A new executive desk range designed by UK design consultancy Wills Watson & Associates for Kinnarps will also be unveiled.

Design Prima runs from 15-17 May at Old Billingsgate, Lower Thames Street, London EC3
