WPP gives up talks with WTS

WPP is believed to have abandoned takeover talks with WTS in a search for a backer by the packaging and branding group. WPP’s decision not to buy into WTS follows similar inconclusive discussions with Princedale, parent of MPL and CLK.

WPP is believed to have abandoned takeover talks with WTS in a search for a backer by the packaging and branding group.

WPP’s decision not to buy into WTS follows similar inconclusive discussions with Princedale, parent of MPL and CLK. But it is thought WTS is close to a deal, possibly with an overseas group.
