Labour picks Johnson Banks

The Government has appointed Johnson Banks to design its first annual report, after a three-way credentials pitch.

Pentagram and Interbrand Newell and Sorrell were also on the shortlist (DW 24 April).

The report will track Labour’s manifesto commitments and look ahead to next year.

“We want it to be quite authoritative with a quality of reassurance, so that it’s not just marketing spin. It is likely to be in colour but unlikely to be flash,” says a Government spokesman. The report launches in June.
