Corporate Edge fires Kiln identity

Lloyd’s of London under-writer Kiln has commissioned Corporate Edge to revamp its corporate identity.

Millini Interactive is redesigning its website, and it is moving into a new office, designed by Maris City.

All work launches this week. A Corporate Edge signage system will appear at Kiln’s ‘pod’ at Lloyd’s of London within the month, and merchandising, stationery and literature, also by Corporate Edge, will roll out over the coming months.

Corporate Edge has also created a set of brand guidelines for the new office’s interiors and website.

‘Kiln has been through significant change over the past year, becoming more focused on underwriting specialist risks. The [new] identity signals this change,’ says Corporate Edge project director Andy Hayes. ‘The logo is more vibrant, and its transparency reflects the honest relationship Kiln has with brokers,’ Hayes adds.

Corporate Edge, which commanded a five-figure fee for the project, won the work without a competitive pitch but did present credentials and strategies.

Maris City won the work without a pitch.

Millini Interactive won the five-figure on-line work after a two-way unpaid creative pitch. The website goes live at www.kilnplc.com.
