Deepend styles Panasonic sites

Deepend has created on-line brand guidelines and two product microsites for Panasonic Europe, which went live at the end of last week.

The digital brand manual is for internal Panasonic use only, says a Deepend spokeswoman. It is designed to provide a common look and feel for all Panasonic’s international sites and features design do’s and don’ts.

‘Panasonic makes a diverse range of products which are promoted in 20 international markets, so its on-line environments must be consistent,’ she adds.

The microsites will showcase the brand’s Tau TV high definition television technology and Secure Digital card, which stores digital images from cameras, video cameras, files and laptop data.

The sites can be visited through the main portal at www.panasonic-europe.com/tau or /sd, and will be joined by microsites for Panasonic’s car DVD navigation system, e-Cam digital video cameras and Motion DV video editing software later this year.

The work follows Deepend’s design work for Panasonic Europe’s main portal, www.panasonic-europe.com, which went live at the end of 2000.
