In News Analysis (DW 9 August) Brandon Cheevers missed a talking point of last year. He says Manchester United did not compete in last season’s FA Cup. They actually declined the invitation a year earlier and were entered into the 2001 FA Cup, only to be dumped out by West Ham’s Paolo di Canio.
