Solid, the British hi-fi manufacturer, is launching a new range of three loudspeakers, the S100, C100 and PB100 (pictured). The range is designed by long-term Solid collaborator Morten Warren. The new range is designed to deliver the sound clarity and impact listeners would expect from a cinema. And they don’t just come in black. The S100 is also available in white, with a choice of grille colours – burgundy and blue.

This year the English Shakespeare Company’s tour features productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Beowulf. The publicity material, designed by SEA in London, had to represent both plays while stressing the difference between them. This poster includes a half moon and a shield, which SEA describes as a minimal visual device combining Celtic and nocturne imagery. The campaign rolls out over the next six months.
