Savoury snack Discos is getting loved up in time for Valentine’s Day with the launch of limited edition ‘lurrve packs’. Designed by Dohm Puzey, the packs are intended to have contemporary teenage ‘lurrve appeal’, according to the consultancy. The Dr Lurrve character was specially created to help communicate the roundness of Discos via his Afro hair style, adds a Dohm Puzey spokesman. The Valentine theme continues inside the packets in the form of heart-shaped snacks.

A poster campaign designed to catch the eye of clubbers has been launched in London. The campaign aims to impart information on safe clubbing and the effects of drugs. Organised by London’s 26 drugs action teams and designed by Ideology, the project includes the campaign’s identity – London Dance Safety – six posters covering ecstasy, cannabis, speed, LSD, poppers and cocaine, and a 40-page booklet. An Ideology spokesman says: ‘Clubbers can spot a Government health information campaign a mile away and tend to switch off. This campaign… has laid-back type and is quite corporate.’
