Cubit Design creates interiors for The Spice Cube

Berwickshire-based group Cubit Design has created interiors for The Spice Cube, an Indian restaurant in Newcastle’s recently completed Gate development. The group was briefed to deliver a solution that achieved ‘standout’ from the area’s established restaurant chains, says Cubit Design director Russell Stewart. Interiors move away from ‘traditional Indian themes’ and use ‘vivid background colours and sensual textures to create a contemporary look-and-feel’, Stewart explains.
