Terms and conditions for pregnant women and their partners in the design industry could change significantly as a result of a new survey commissioned by the Design Business Association.
Preliminary findings from market research group Eureka! on a range of industry human resource issues were due to be presented to the DBA board on Tuesday.
DBA director Clare Anderson says the board will now discuss how to develop these initial findings further.
The general idea is to set up a scheme or schemes to aid consultancies in their maternity/paternity policies. Anderson says the board hopes to decide scheme details within the next month.
