Royal variety for soft drinks

THE PRINCE of Wales’s company Duchy Originals Limited has launched a new range of non-alcoholic fruit and herb drinks, with bottle and graphic design by Lewis Moberly.

The consultancy, which created the brand identity and packaging for Duchy Originals’ biscuits, has created a typeface in handwritten style for Duchy Number One and Number Three.

“The aim is to reflect the high-quality natural ingredients of the products and the premium, adult profile of their target market,” says consultancy creative director Mary Lewis. The claret-style green bottles and label shape are intended to present the drinks as an alternative to wine, according to the consultancy.
