Heinz Salad Cream relaunches

The controversial relaunch of Heinz Salad Cream – which has involved nearly doubling the price of a brand threatened with being scrapped six months ago – uses a new look developed by Jones Knowles Ritchie.

The design aims to build on the ‘iconic’ appeal of the long-running brand, established in 1914.

Bright new labelling and a modified bottle shape are included in the redesign.

‘New consumers’ interest will boom, as Heinz Salad Cream becomes part of their regular shop,’ says Heinz director of European Sauces Stefan Barden.
