Hilton favours Tayburn image

Hilton hotels has appointed Edinburgh consultancy Tayburn Design to help relaunch the Hilton brand in the UK and Ireland.

A £10m first-year spend is planned by the chain, following its takeover of the Stakis hotel group last year.

Tayburn managing director Simon Norris says the consultancy is looking at the entire design process, ranging from corporate signage to literature.

The new look for the Hilton identity is expected to be publicly launched next month.
