Top jobs filled at Crafts Council

The Crafts Council announced this week that it has appointed Joanna Foster as its chairman, and Rosy Greenlees as director.

Greenlees joins from the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Enterprise, which she established, and says she is looking forward to helping the Crafts Council ‘taking the lead in contemporary craft through a range of new partnerships’.

Foster officially takes up the largely ambassadorial chairman role from 29 March. Both positions became vacant in November last year, when chairman Sir Nicholas Goodison and director Louise Taylor both stepped down.
