A salute to our pals up north

Look what happens when our friends in the north trek down to the Big Smoke for a knees-up.

Everyone got rat-arsed when Stockport graphics outfit Tucker Clarke-Williams celebrated its new London set-up recently.

Guests were treated to Lancashire (or was it Cheshire?) hot-pot at a Carnaby Street club and everyone got into the spirit, while consultancy PR lady Jill Brain (pictured) apparently worked hard at getting into the party spirit en route to the party.

Group partner Hugh Clarke-Williams sent us some photos with the reassuring remark: “Everyone looks absolutely shit-faced.” Takes one to know one, Hugh.

It’s a brave move for a Cheshire group to set up shop in the capital, and we wish them all the best. If they can throw together a logo as well as they throw a party, they’ll be laffing.
