Design Council keeps Sorrell

President of the Board of Trade Ian Lang has re-appointed John Sorrell as chairman of the Design Council for a further two years. Sorrell has been working with the council’s chief executive Andrew Summers on a document outlining council plans for the next two years. The document is due for release today (Thursday).

‘We have many exciting developments planned and John’s vision will be invaluable in ensuring they have significant impact,’ says Summers.
