News presenter Jon Snow is calling on designers to join a new initiative called The Media Resource.
Launched by The Media Trust, which is chaired by Snow, it aims to encourage media bods to donate their skills to the charitable and voluntary sector.
The resource is funded by the Granada Group, Carlton Communications, The Reuter Foundation and the Government, and the pilot programme lasts only six months – so get your skates on.
The trust has already recruited from all sectors of the media, but “corporate design and visual identity are key areas”, says Paul Sternberg, the project’s manager.
