Ransley stake on Isle of Man
Ransley Group’s long-standing working relationship with the Stakis hotel and leisure group continues with a 1.5m refurbishment of the Stakis Casino Hotel on the Isle of Man.
The consultancy is working alongside local architect Savage and Chadwick on a new entrance, reception area, casino and night club. The project includes a themed bar/restaurant concept called Swing Easy drawing on 50 years of musical entertainment.
Also for the same client, Ransley Group continues its work at the Stakis Arundel Hotel with a refurbishment of the hotel’s reception, bar and lounge and 32 rooms in an original Georgian wing. The work follows the completion earlier this year of the consultancy’s redesign for the hotel’s health and leisure facilities and 33 bedrooms.
A Ransley Group spokeswoman says the consultancy is talking to Stakis about the interior design for the group’s planned hotel next to the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London (DW 17 November).
