Conran Design Group rebrands Wilde & Partners

Wilde and Partners, the receivables financing and assetbased lending legal practice, has been rebranded by Conran Design Group. The design consultancy won the contract following an unpaid creative pitch.

The firm has changed its name to Wildes, reflecting its development and expansion across a range of client services and practice areas supporting the receivables financing industry.

The identity has been applied across all corporate literature and stationery, as well as a website, designed by Byfleet-based WebDesign UK. The development of a new corporate brochure has yet to begin, and Conran Design Group has not yet been confirmed as the preferred consultancy for the work.

The new identity includes a shift from the original colour palette of black and burgundy. “We worked on values of being honest, down-to-earth and warm,” says Conran Design Group account director Ann Whatley. “The predominant colour of navy blue is softer and warmer, while the highlight orange demonstrates flair and spark.”

It is an active time for Wildes. Developments include the introduction of e-lit-e, an Internet-based litigation management system, and Rapide, a responsive credit control and debt recovery operation. In addition, five new partners have been appointed during the year and staff numbers have increased from 45 to 75 since the beginning of 1999.
