Deepend fortifies image teams

Digital media group Deepend London has strengthened its digital and moving image teams with the appointment of two new design directors, taking the number of senior level creatives to five.

The first, Tony Phillips, who joined the consultancy recently from Imagination, will be overseeing clients in e-commerce, entertainment websites, multimedia and interactive TV projects.

According to a Deepend spokeswoman, Phillips brings traditional design consultancy and consumer brand experience to the studio.

Deepend’s second new design director, Luiza dos Santos Cruz, recently helped to establish Deepend’s broadcast graphics output, spearheading title sequence projects for the BBC such as Ruby Wax’s “Ruby” and “Choice World Clubbing” (DW 15 September).

Deepgroup’s opening of its Deepend Prague office has been pushed back until January. The new office will be opened in conjunction with Czech digital media consultancy Sorcererware, which will be absorbed into Deepgroup to become the seventh international Deepend studio (DW 10 November).
