Hammacott joins Revolution

London digital media consultancy Revolution has appointed Symon Hammacott as its new creative director.

Hammacott, previously co-founder and operational creative director of on-line communications group &Summ, fills a role left vacant by two creative head changes at Revolution.

A spokeswoman for the group says the roles of Keith Perry, who left to join Addison as design director in September, and Ije Nwokorie, who now heads Revolution’s strategic planning division Connect, will be “split”.

She says his appointment is not a direct result of the group’s October merger with Asian e-business group Web Connect.

“The appointment of Hammacott is not linked to the Web Connect deal. But we are planning for growth and that is likely to create job opportunities,” she explains.
