Olins awarded RSA medal

Last week, the Royal Society of Arts awarded Wally Olins, co-founder of brand consultancy Wolff Olins, the 2000 Bicentenary Medal.

The medal is awarded each year to a person deemed to have exceptionally promoted art and design in British industry – “in a manner other than as an industrial designer”.

Also honoured with an appointment to the Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry were AMX design director Malcolm Garrett for contributions to digital media design; King Miranda co-founder Perry King for product design; Phillip Thompson for illustration and graphic design; graphic designer Fabien Baron; and Enzo Mari for product design.
