The Team used a number of illustrators for The Institute of Personnel Development’s annual report design. For the last three years the consultancy has been working with the IPD, Europe’s leading human resources organisation, to bring a cohesive approach to its marketing communications mix. The report got its first airing at the IPD Conference and Exhibition in Harrogate last week. The illustration pictured is the work of Alison Jay.

The Towards 2000 Exhibition was organised by the Department of Trade & Industry to promote UK business to Indian companies. More than 130 organisations took stands at the 11 000m2 New Delhi exhibition, which was designed by Fitch. The design set out to portray the UK as a forward-thinking nation. ‘If Britain is to compete in world markets, it is vital that we create a strategic shift in perception and communicate the technological excellence and innovation which exists here,’ says Fitch director Giles Marking.
