Even a virtual dog will have its day

Following the exploits of Jasper the Labrador at Bosworth Field, the Design Show saw yet more doggy tails from the assembled design groups.

Bristol group Bi-Design was unable to bring along studio dog Nell because she was guarding the office.

Instead, different life-sized cardboard representations of the West Highland Terrier were moved around stand, giving the impression that Nell was present and scampering around. “She is very photogenic,” promised guardian Carol Whitworth. Nell is also to grace the consultancy website, which will feature “cheesy Sixties and Seventies” music from Whitworth’s band.
