Siegel & Gale is planning to replicate its New York offer by expanding the staff numbers of its London interactive arm ten-fold to 30 within the year. The consultancy is pushing to create a dominant interactive presence on both sides of the Atlantic.

Online Magic co-founder John Wilmott has joined as director of London’s interactive arm.

His primary role will be to manage and grow the company’s business in Europe. He will be targeting existing clients as well as new clients looking for a web consultancy service.

“Siegel & Gale was a pioneer in simplified communications… We want to try to replicate the New York work and customer base here,” Wilmott adds.

Wilmott is looking for designers, programmers and site builders along with a creative head to expand the existing team of three.

Siegel & Gale in the US is also looking to expand. Its 32-strong interactive arm is headed up by David Webster.

Wilmott left Online Magic, where he was sales director, this spring.

Siegel & Gale in London currently has 32 staff.
