Sea hits right note to win EMI report job

Sea has been appointed to design EMI’s interim results and annual report and accounts. The consultancy won the job after a four-way creative pitch. The win provides Sea with its first FTSE 100 annual report client.

Eight consultancies presented their credentials for the project, half of which made it to EMI’s shortlist.

Sea fought competition from Stocks Austin Sice, Magee and incumbent Tor Petterson in the pitch. EMI director of corporate affairs Jason Crisp declines to say whether the pitch was paid. The interim results are due to appear in late November.

Meanwhile, SalterBaxter is designing the music company’s environmental report, which is due for release next month, and its website, which goes live later this year.
