Holford wins Laurent-Perrier

Katy Holford (pictured) has won the first Laurent-Perrier Design Award for her dressing table accessories for Crabtree & Evelyn.

Judges, who included Shin Azumi and Robin Levien, praised Holford’s ‘seductive’ combination of pewter and glass.

The objects were part of the Eureka project, which saw nine young designers working to briefs by four retailers (DW 15 July).
